I am a professional Waxologist and Sugarist that specializes in full body hair removal, and I can't wait to get you taken care of!

I have been waxing professionally for the past 6 years and sugaring for a little over 2 years! My journey into waxing was a long time coming! At a young age my interest was sparked and did not come without its challenges! (Yes, I ripped off half of my eyebrow!)

However, I'm happy to say that after becoming a licensed professional, additional training courses, and years of practice, I have mastered the art of waxing! I'm super passionate about what I do and love getting my clients the smooth skin they deserve!

I wax myself! Yes, even the Brazilian - I sugar her!

I absolutely love traveling and my favorite biome is the rainforest, although the ocean is a close second!

I'm a dark chocolate lover and I make it a priority to find locally made chocolate wherever I travel! Especially in countries that harvest cacao! It's my favorite souvenir! That, and seashells!

Before Your Appointment

Hair should be 1/4 in long (about 2-3 weeks growth)
Wear loose, clean clothing to your appointment
Avoid sun exposure 24 hours prior
Exfoliate 24-48 hours prior
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine the day of your appointment
Drink plenty of water and take 2 Tylenol 30 min beforehand if needed

After Your Appointment (24–48 hrs)

Avoid hot showers, baths, saunas, hot tubs, pools, lakes
Exercise or breaking a sweat
Sexual activity
Tight clothing or touching the area
Tanning through sunbathing, sun beds, or fake tans
Avoid heavy or scented products and exfoliating sooner than 48 hours

Cancellation Policy

24-hour notice required for cancellations or appointment changes
Late cancellations will incur a fee of 50% of your service(s)
Future bookings require all cancellation fees to be paid in full

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What's the difference between waxing and sugaring?

A: I use a professional soft wax that I apply to the hair and a strip to remove it quickly and efficiently. I use this for every service except for nostrils and ears. For these services, I use hard wax. Sugaring is a hair removal method that uses a paste made from sugar, lemon, and water that I mold around the hair and flick to remove as a more natural option.

Q: How long does my hair need to be for waxing or sugaring?

A: Waxing, your hair needs to be at least 1/4 of an inch. (2–3 weeks of growth) Sugaring, your hair needs to have at least 10 days of growth.

Q: How often should I book my appointments?

A: There are 4 hair cycles, meaning that all your hair doesn't grow at once. Keeping your appointments scheduled every 4-6 weeks will keep your skin smooth and make the process easier overall. Hair cycle growth will vary from person to person. I will get a better feel for your hair cycles the more you come in.

Q: How long do results last?

A: Results typically last 3-6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle, the area being treated, and individual differences. With regular appointments, hair often grows back finer and sparser over time, and you may be able to extend the time between appointments. Remember, no shaving or trimming in between appointments as this can mess up your hair cycles we've worked so hard to keep under control. If you feel the need to shave, we can get your appointments booked closer together.

Q: Is there an age limit for getting waxed or sugared?

A: I wax and sugar all ages. However, if you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent or guardian sign permission for you to get waxed or sugared. This same parent or guardian must be present inside the salon location in order for me to perform the service.

Q: Can I get waxed or sugared if I'm pregnant?

A: Yes! Your skin can be more sensitive and tender. However, it is still completely safe for you to receive services. Let me know if you are pregnant. That way, I can make sure you're as comfortable as possible.

Q: Can I get waxed or sugared on my period?

A: Yes! Just wear a fresh tampon or menstrual cup to your appointment. You may be more sensitive during this time. However, the appointments are usually pretty quick, and most clients prefer to maintain their schedule regardless of their cycle.

Q: How should I handle waxing and sugaring before a special event?

A: I recommend coming in at least twice before the big day. This helps us both to see how your skin reacts to the waxing or sugaring.

Q: What can I do to keep the pain to a minimum?

A: You can take Tylenol 30 minutes before your appointment. Numbing creams are okay to use, but follow the instructions carefully, as they may cause irritation. Avoid NSAIDs like Aleve and Ibuprofen beforehand, as they can affect the way your blood clots and make you bruise more easily. Drinking plenty of water will keep your skin healthy, which can make hair removal easier.
